Revelation Awards Ceremony 2017
The awards ceremony of the 2017 Concours Mondial du Sauvignon took place yesterday during the ProWein fair in Düsseldorf. The winners of the seven Revelation awards received their trophies personally from the director of the competition, Thomas Costenoble. During the corresponding wine tasting, the producers also had the opportunity to present their wines to the audience of journalists and distributors.
The Revelation trophies were awarded to wines securing the highest scores, recognising the excellence of Sauvignon blanc in the relevant categories:

The award ceremony ended with the announcement of the location of the next Concours Mondial du Sauvignon. Host of the competition in 2018 will be the wine region of Styria, Austria. The ninth edition of the contest will take place from March 2-3 in Graz.
Steffan Potzinger, Chairman of Styria Wine Marketing and Willy Klinger, Managing Director of the Austrian Wine Marketing expressed their gratitude for the offered opportunity and invited everyone to discover Styria’s wines and its steep picturesque vineyards.
